David grew up in Green Bay, WI with his four siblings. His father, James Brusky, D.D.S. moved his family back to his hometown after graduating from Marquette Dental School in 1969. After ten years of building his dental practice, Dr. Jim decided to move his family to a small lake near Shawano, WI where he had vacationed during his childhood years. It was this move that created a love of the outdoors in David. He still hunts, fishes, camps, sails, and kayaks whenever he can. After graduating from Shawano High School, David attended Marquette University where he earned a B.S. in Biology. Desiring to follow in his father’s footsteps, he went to Marquette University School of Dentistry and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993. He immediately joined Dr. Jim, and after six years decided to build a new dental office to allow him to more fully integrate the many years of continuing education he had taken and the new technologies that dentistry had to offer. After Dr. Jim’s retirement in 2007, David has continued his pursuit of excellence, as well as offering the best care and technology dentistry can provide. David is very happily married to Katie and adores his two daughters, Alexandria and Samantha. He lives on Green Bay’s east side and has a passion for growing fruit and vegetables. Other interests include traveling, attending silent retreats, biking, yoga, reading, listening to public radio talk shows, cooking, and canning.
